7 shot at IN nightclub; most victims stable

The shooting happened early Sunday morning in the city of Gary near Chicago.

There were no immediate details about the condition of each victim or the circumstances surrounding the shooting, according to The Associated Press.

Seven people were shot early Sunday in northwest Indiana. Lt. Dawn Westerfield, a spokeswoman for the department, said she expected to have more information later Sunday or early Monday.
