English Premier League club Everton have wished former Nigeria worldwide Yakubu Aiyegbeni all the best as he retires from professional football.

Having left Turkish side Kayserispor in 2016, Yakubu was training with National League side Boreham Wood early last season before being offered a contract at Coventry in February until the end of the season by then Sky Blues boss Russell Slade. The highest of such goals was scored for Portsmouth where he scored 29 goals, 25 for Middlesborough and 25 for Everton among others.
