Astronauts have held the first ever pizza party in space!

Italian astronaut, Paolo Nespoli, shared time-lapse footage of the light show on his Facebook page along with other galactic wonders.

NASA sent Nespoli and the crew pizza ingredients in November as part of a cargo-delivery mission to the International Space Station, helped by aerospace company Orbital ATK, which launched the rocket that carried the supplies.

Included on the craft were prepackaged crusts, a squeeze bottle full of pizza sauce, spreadable cheese and toppings including olives and pepperoni.
