Yeatman's dismissal comes almost one week after HuffPost reported he told the woman that higher-ups at Netflix didn't believe the four women who had accused Masterson of raping them in the early 2000s.
Just weeks after Danny Masterson left The Ranch amid reports of sexual assault allegations, Netflix has reportedly made another move that shows they take these claims seriously. Yeatman declined to comment. Yeatman reportedly told the accuser, referred to as "Victim B", that "we don't believe" the rape allegations. He coaches his daughter's youth soccer team and two weekends ago, his team was playing against one on which a daughter of one of Masterson's accusers plays.
Netflix issued a statement last week calling Yeatman's comments "careless, uninformed" and unrepresentative of the views of the company.
Passenger Charged Over $14000 For 5-Mile Ride — Uber Surge Pricing
Never would have an Uber customer thought in his wildest dreams that a 21-minute cab ride would cost him $18,000. Uber said it has 32,000 drivers in Toronto who have made at least four trips in the last month.
'I am obviously very disappointed in Netflix's decision to write my character off of The Ranch. "We are aware of the allegations and the subsequent investigation, and will respond if developments occur", a Netflix spokesman told HuffPost.
The Yeatman issue arose on December 4 after HuffPost published an anonymous accuser's account of alleged inaction by Netflix on rape accusations against Masterson.
The day after the HuffPost piece was published, Netflix announced that it had fired Masterson from The Ranch and had written him out of the series. Yeatman later told Victim B that he didn't know she was one of Masterson's accusers.
USA wholesale prices up 0.4%
Prices for final demand transportation and warehousing increased 0.6% in November after increasing 0.8% in October. But the tight job market has yet to generate significant wage growth, which would push inflation higher.
Last month, a report by the Huffington Post illuminated the charges against Masterson, a longtime Scientologist, including accusations of rape by three women who are also members of the church. Netflix hasn't confirmed whether Masterson will lose his production role. With renewed attention to the case amid the current crackdown on sexual harassment and sexual assault in Hollywood, Netflix parted ways with the actor, who stars opposite Ashton Kutcher in the Internet network's popular multi-camera comedy series The Ranch.
The actor has denied the accusations of rape made against him and claims that the encounters in question were consensual. Masterson has denied the allegations. "I have never been charged with a crime, let alone convicted of one", the statement read.
