Leave.EU Campaign Co-Founder Follows Farage's Call for Second Brexit Referendum

Nigel Farage

"So maybe, just maybe, I'm reaching the point of thinking that we should have a second referendum. It would kill off the issue for a generation once and for all".

Adonis added: "Farage wants a referendum on Mrs May's Brexit deal".

Rather than the close-call of 2016's referendum, Mr Banks was insistent the Leave campaign would "win by a landslide" this time around. "I agree. Bring it on!" "The percentage that would vote to leave next time would be very much bigger than it was last time".

Tom Brake, Brexit spokesman for the Liberal Democrats, said: "Farage shouldn't be so confident of winning".

Andrew Adonis, a Labour member of the House of Lords who has been increasingly vocal in his opposition to Brexit since resigning as Prime Minister Theresa May's infrastructure czar last month, welcomed Farage's comments.

He said: "What's important is that we don't have a vote on the divorce until we see the terms of the new relationship".

Meghan Markle was called out by her sister for wearing a £56,000 dress for her official engagement portrait with Prince Harry . According to The Daily Mail, US presidents are not usually invited to Royal weddings this "low down the succession list ".

Remainers had earlier welcomed Farage's challenge that Britons would back Brexit with an even bigger majority in another poll, and Ukip refused to back him.

The former Ukip leader shocked his colleagues on Thursday by suggesting another Brexit vote, arguing it would lead to a more decisive victory for the leave campaign and silence remain supporters for a generation.

Steve Baker, a Brexit minister, said the former Ukip leader's comments were "further confirmation of my long-held view that Nigel Farage is one of the greatest impediments to a successful Brexit".

"Maybe, just maybe, we should have a second referendum", he tweeted to his 1.1 million followers.

"Such a second referendum would undermine the fabric of our democratic principles and would weaken the clarity and effectiveness of democratic decision".

"I am dumbfounded to find myself agreeing with Nigel Farage on anything but for once he is right, the British people should vote again and they should vote on two clear options".

First time ever - Saudi women enter stadium to watch soccer
Females were in attendance at the King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah to witness Al-Ahli defeat Al-Batin 5-0. Women were allowed to attend a football match for the first time ever in Saudi Arabia on Friday.

Farage's colleagues are not so keen on a second vote.

The PM has ruled out holding another referendum and has repeatedly insisted that Britain will leave the European Union in March 2019.

Pro-Brexiteers, such as Mr Farage and Mr Banks, have scolded campaigns to hold a second European Union vote as "anti-democratic" and "against the will of the people" in the past.

He said he believes a second referendum would be triggered by Parliament voting down the Brexit deal offered by the EU.

I began with a question suggested by one of my LBC radio show listeners, namely: does he understand why Brexit happened in the first place? "Blair is calling for it already and Labour is moving towards putting it in its manifesto".
