Netflix releases trailer for The End of the F**king World original series

Exclusive Netflix The End of the F***ing World

TEOTFW is an adaptation of a 2013 graphic novel of the same name by Charles Forsman, which explored themes of alienation, sociopathy, young love and young rebellion, albeit in a bracing and unconventional way.

"I'm James, I'm 17, and I'm pretty sure I'm a psychopath", the main character calmly explains in the show's trailer before it cuts to him dunking his hand in a deep fryer as a kid "just to feel something". He has "a penchant for harming himself and animals".

Life as a teen is tough and confusing, at best. He then meets Alyssa, who is also of the same age. But James' plans get changed up when Alyssa decides to leave their shithole town, and he heads off with her after punching his father and stealing his vehicle.
