Queen's bra fitter Rigby & Peller loses royal warrant

Queen's Elizabeth's favored bra shop loses privileges over former owner's book

Rigby & Peller, the official lingerie supplier to the Queen, lost the prestigious title after the brand's former owner wrote a book which included details about fitting Her Majesty, as well as working with other members of the Royal Family.

She also claimed that Princess Diana accepted posters of models wearing lingerie and swimwear for Prince William and Prince Harry to display in their Eton dorms.

June Kenton who transformed the company to what it is today, wrote detailed accounts about fitting Queen Elizabeth, Princess Diana, Princess Margaret and the Queen Mother.

The upmarket underwear brand, which now operates stores in the USA and the Middle East, lost the coveted honour previous year, shortly after its founder June Kenton published her autobiography, Storm in a D Cup, in March.

"The royal household warrants committee has chose to cancel the royal warrant granted to Rigby & Peller and Mrs June Kenton", the brand said in a statement.
