Trump Says "Fire And Fury" Full Of Lies, Misrepresentations

The Trump Administration Has Begun A War On America’s Legal Weed

One of Trump's attorneys, Charles Harder, sent a letter yesterday morning to Wolff and his publisher, Henry Holt and Co., demanding on behalf of his client that they "cease and desist from any further publication, release or dissemination" of the book.

"Michael Wolff is a total loser who made up stories in order to sell this really boring and untruthful book", he wrote.

He also said he never spoke with Wolff for the book, and turned down his request for an interview many times. On the pages of the book, aides are quoted openly criticizing the president, describing him as a child.

He has criticized the book as "phony" and on Saturday said the way he was characterized in the book was false, tweeting that he is a "very stable genius".

Trump's tweet did not outright deny speaking to Wolff at all. Other excerpts depicted Trump being angry over celebrity snubs at his inauguration, and that he eats fast food because he is afraid he might be poisoned. As of Friday, "Fire and Fury" was the top-selling book on Amazon.com.

Donald Trump has claimed Steve Bannon "cried when he was sacked and begged for his job", marking an escalation in the feud between the former strategist whose contributions to an explosive new book have made headlines around the world.

"I guess sloppy Steve (Bannon) brought him into the White House quite a bit.that's why sloppy Steve is looking for a job".

Sanders spoke Friday on "Fox and Friends" Friday about Michael Wolff's "Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House".

Some of Mr. Bannon's preferred candidates, like former Rep. Michael Grimm of NY, denounced Mr. Bannon after his comments became public.

Mr Wolff himself concedes in author's note some of what his sources told him was untrue. Donald Trump is going to probably spend the remainder of his presidency fighting back.

Defends Catt Sadler's pay gap: 'There is a lot of misinformation'
In a Facebook post, Sadler wrote that she and her team asked the network to pay her "what I know I deserve and were denied repeatedly".

But Trump said Wolff "was never in the Oval Office" and "we didn't have an interview".

The US President's lawyers tried to prevent the book's publication, warning that legal action was "imminent". The New York Times's White House correspondent Maggie Haberman told CNN that the author got some basic details wrong.

The book's most scathing comments about Trump and his family come from Bannon, whom Trump called "sloppy Steve" in his latest tweet.

"I absolutely spoke to the president".

"He called me a "great man" last night so you know, he obviously changed his tune pretty quick", said President Trump.

Mr. Deason and Republican donor Dan Eberhart both say that the passing of the GOP tax bill made them less likely to support GOP primary challengers like Roy Moore, whom Mr. Bannon supported over the Republican incumbent in the recent Alabama special election, which Moore lost to a Democrat.
