Alderson: 'I Think Tebow Will Play In The Major Leagues'

He has made it to the New York Mets' major-league training camp, and G.M. Sandy Alderson believes it's a matter of time before he ends up on a major-league roster.

"Tim Tebow is here because he can potentially help us at the major-league level at some point".

"That's my hope and to some extent after a year and a half a modest expectation", Alderson said.

"That's my guess", Alderson said.

Internet rips Fergie over freaky All-Star game performance
Fergie's rendition of the national anthem at the NBA All-Star Game was so unpopular that some critics are calling it treasonous. One person even compared her rendition of "The Star-Spangled Banner" to the famously bad performance from Carl Lewis in 1993 .

Tebow's jersey became an immediate top seller for the Mets when he signed a minor league contract with the team in September 2016. I think he will play in the major leagues. "He's made progress on the field and he's dedicated himself to improving. We thought he would best benefit from being in a major league camp". "That would accelerate his development rather than falling back on protocol". "It's phenomenal for minor league baseball".

"For me, it was going into the offseason and knowing what I had to work on". "I've got too many important things going on, and I'm getting ready for spring training in slightly over a week".

"I don't think there's other pitching staffs out there that can say they have pitchers with better stuff (than the Mets), but the name of the game is health", said Vargas, who signed a two-year, $16 million deal plus an $8 million option for a third year.

"It's a lot freer, a lot more aggressive, a lot more athletic, freer hands", he said of his swing. He worked on flexibility and mobility in the offseason.

Omarosa Claims Someone in the White House Is "Sleeping Around With Everybody"
Matthews asks, begging her to tell him everything will "be okay". Brandi Glanville asked, and Omarosa replied, "With who? ".

Tebow, who plays in the outfield, earned an invitation to the major league camp earlier this year, and is now training with the team in Port St. Lucie, Florida. More than five years after his National Football League career effectively ended, Tebow is 18 months into a professional baseball career that has gone from whimsical to legitimate. It's hard to fully make changes in a season when you're competing one night, you work on the next day, you compete the next night, so it's hard for those changes to really lock in.

"I view success as being able to play a game I love every day", he said. This experiment, if you will, is not going to last forever.

Tebow said there were plenty of up and down moments a year ago.

Tebow hit just.226 in 2017 with Low Class-A Columbia and High Class-A St. Lucie. He also averaged a strikeout per game. Last week, the Mets announced that they'd like him to start the year in Double-A as long as he doesn't totally suck this spring. That said, do not be surprised to see if Tebow makes his way into the Mets dugout in the near future.
