Aaron Ramsey: 'My contract is not at the top of Arsenal's priorities'

Aaron Ramsey Chelsea

Chelsea are reportedly monitoring the situation surrounding Aaron Ramsey's situation at Arsenal and are ready to move for the player in the summer.

The Welsh midfielder has just over a year to run on his deal at the Emirates Stadium and officials are keen to guard against a repeat of the situations endured with Alexis Sanchez, Mesut Ozil and now Jack Wilshere.

Ramsey has been in decent form for Arsenal so far this season, scoring seven goals and making seven assists in all competitions for the north London side.

Cesc Fabregas is being tipped to move on, while Tiemoue Bakayoko has struggled to adapt to English football - indeed the Blues also tried to land Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain from Arsenal before he moved to Liverpool last summer.
