Richard Sherman Signs 3-Year Deal With 49ers
Richard Sherman is set to become a 49er, but he might not have been San Francisco's top cornerback pursuit this offseason. Part of Lynch's sales pitch to Sherman was the simple fact that he would play his former team at least twice per year.

Murray turned 30 last month and was released by the Titans last week in a cost-cutting move.

Ameer Abdullah led the team in rushing, with a mere 552 yards on the ground last season. For his career, he has rushed for a total of 7,318 yards and 51 touchdowns.

Detroit finished last in the National Football League in rushing in 2017 for the second time in three years. The Lions may be the team that gives him that opportunity.

The court said the authorities would follow the jail manual in this regard, also denying his request for home food in the jail. Special CBI judge Sunil Rana said the social status of the accused can not be the basis for a separate prison.

If Detroit chooses to pass on both Stewart and Murray, there are other choices on the free agent market.

Stewart, a 10-year vet whose entire career has been played in Carolina, is coming off a season in which he posted a career-low 3.4 yards per carry.
