Russian Federation hopes ex-spy will recover, reveal truth about…

Theresa May UK will expel 23 Russian diplomats

The measures are a response to the U.K.'s decision on March 4 to expel 23 Russian diplomats and Prime Minister Theresa May's accusations against Russia, blaming the country for a nerve toxin attack on a former Russian double agent, Serguei Skripal, and his daughter in Salisbury, U.K.

After initially refusing to explicitly blame Russian Federation for the poisoning of a former spy in Britain, the Trump administration said Wednesday that the Kremlin "is responsible for the attack" - though the president himself has remained mum on the topic. She identified the substance used in the attack as a Novichok nerve agent, developed in the Soviet Union.

Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said Russian Federation had halted all chemical weapons research after joining the Chemical Weapons Convention that came into force in 1997, and completed the destruction of its stockpiles a year ago.

Snow and ice warning in Andover
As a mini "Beast from the East" is expected to hit Britain, the Met Office has warned of snow accumulations of up to 10cm (4in). Across the United Kingdom , warnings are in place and Brits have been warned to avoid unnecessary travel.

Tensions between London and Moscow over the attempted murder of a former Russian spy ratcheted up another level Thursday after Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov warned that a move to expel British diplomats from Russia would "absolutely" be going ahead.

"They have treated the use of a military-grade nerve agent in Europe with sarcasm, contempt and defiance", she said Wednesday.

"It is an assault on the United Kingdom's sovereignty and any such use by a state party is a clear violation of the Chemical Weapons Convention and a breach of worldwide law. Due to the unregulated status of the British Council in the Russian Federation it will be dissolved", the statement said.

Bill Hader & Fred Armisen Reunite on 'SNL' Cold Open
Talking about firing Central Intelligence Agency chief Andrew McCabe , Sessions said, "I don't know". It was a star-studded cold open, with John Goodman reprising his impression of Tillerson.

"Our concerns are also heightened against the background of a pattern of earlier irresponsible Russian behavior".

"The United Kingdom thoroughly briefed its allies that it was highly likely that Russian Federation was responsible for the attack".

In a rare joint statement, May and U.S. President Donald Trump, French President Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor Angela Merkel said "there is no plausible alternative explanation" to Russian responsibility for the poisoning.

May warns of more action as Russian Federation expels diplomats
Before the exchange, he was serving 13 years in prison for leaking information to British intelligence. The organization has been operating in Russian Federation since the 1991 fall of the Soviet Union.

The decision marked the largest expulsion of Russian diplomats from the United Kingdom since the Cold War. "Some people say it might not be a cold war, but it is chilly", he said.
