Republicans on the House Intelligence Committee announced Monday they found no evidence that the Trump campaign colluded with Russian Federation and that they are shutting down their yearlong investigation.

The House Intelligence Committee has finished its interviews and research in the Russian Federation investigation and will begin working on its final report soon.

"Republican conclusions, Democratic conclusions and no consensus about whether or not the Trump campaign worked with the Russians", Raju reported. "We found no evidence of any collusion of anything people were actually doing, other than taking a meeting they shouldn't have taken or just inadvertently being in the same building".

The Journal notes that, based on interviews with multiple lawmakers and aides on both sides, Republicans and Democrats on the House panel are unlikely to come to a bipartisan conclusion on some of the central questions in the probe, including whether anyone from the Trump campaign worked with Russians to help tip the election in his favor. Those interviewed over the course of the investigation include prominent members of the Trump campaign: former campaign manager Corey Lewandowski, son Donald Trump, Jr., son-in-law Jared Kushner, and former senior strategist Steve Bannon. Democrats will say that the committee has not interviewed all relevant witnesses and that more subpoenas should be issued to find out whether collusion occurred.

He added that the Sooners were "playing in an extremely hard league", and "while there's no question they stumbled down the stretch. they had enough on their résumé to be in".

The Democratic memo prepared by Ranking Member Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) states the Federal Bureau of Investigation and DOJ acted in good faith.

"At the outset of the Russian Federation probe, both parties committed to a thorough investigation that would follow the facts wherever they lead", Rep. Adam Schiff of California, the committee's senior Democrat and a former federal prosecutor, said in a recent statement.

He also argued against using subpoenas or stronger measures - such as contempt citations - to compel any more testimony from witnesses who have appeared before the panel but refused to answer questions related to their time in the administration, arguing that Trump might eventually want to invoke executive privilege.

Democrats have said the committee should hear from more witnesses. "We've interviewed everyone we think we need to interview".
