Stephen Hawking never said 'Vedic theory' better than E=mc2

Stephen Hawking 76 who died on March 14 never won the coveted Nobel Prize as his widely accepted theory on black holes was never proved by astronomers and physicists

It confronts an issue that had bothered the late British theoretical physicist since the 1983 "no-boundary" theory he devised with James Hartle, describing how the universe exploded into existence with the Big Bang.

Hawking and his co-author, Thomas Hertog, wrote the paper on his deathbed.

The Independent said Hawking and Hertog's work, titled "A Smooth Exit from Eternal Inflation", is now being reviewed by a leading scientific journal.

North Korea to meet informally with US, South Korea in Finland
More than a week has passed since United States president Donald Trump declared that he has accepted an offer to talk with Kim Jong Un, the leader of North Korea.

The research paper was submitted just weeks before Hawking's death earlier this week and charted out the maths required for a space probe to find experimental evidence for the existence of a "multiverse", a media report said on Sunday. His theory suggests the Big Bang that produced our universe was just one of an infinite number of Big Bangs, each producing their own universe.

"We recently lost a renowned scientist, cosmologist Stephen Hawking", Vardhan said at the 105th Indian Science Congress at the Manipur University.

According to The Sunday Times newspaper, the paper is due to be published by an unnamed "leading journal" after a review is complete. Nobel Prizes can not be awarded posthumously. It also predicted how our universe would fade into blackness.

Japan says S Korea's Moon promised help to resolve abduction issue
A senior US administration official told AFP: "No US government staff are meeting with the North Koreans in Sweden". Choe Kang-il, a senior North Korean diplomat handling US affairs, was also said to have arrived at the airport.

The idea of a dying universe, though, has remained controversial with cosmologists like Hawking's friend Neil Turok, director of Canada's Perimeter Institute. "I am certain that he did not support the claims made by your minister that Vedas might have a theory superior to Einstein's theory of E=mc^2".

Hawking's paper is influenced by his idea that radiation escapes black holes and this radiation is key to detecting the existence of things beyond our universe. Others believe Hawking's work might embody the breakthrough that cosmology needs as it was the first such theory that could be tested in experiments. According to a report by DailyMail, the work would have made him eligible for a Nobel Prize if he had been alive to claim it, a rare honor that Hawking never achieved.

Scientist Stephen Hawking did not support the claims made by Union minister Harsh Vardhan that the Vedas have a theory superior to Albert Einstein's E=mc^2 equation, a founding trustee of the Stephen Hawking Foundation told The Telegraph on Saturday.
