Teddy Bridgewater signs with Jets: Free Agency Grade

What Jets can do with $80 million now

Chris Mortensen of ESPN adds it's going to be a one-year deal.

Amazon recalls six AmazonBasics power banks over fire concerns
Amazon has today recalled six different models of its AmazonBasics portable power banks, including a total of 260,000 units. Amazon is now sending out emails to customers who purchased these power bans to inform them of the recall.

The Jets are also interested in Teddy Bridgewater, who missed almost two seasons with a knee injury.

Bridgewater, 25, was the No. 32 overall pick by the Vikings in the 2014 NFL Draft. He made a slight jump in 2015-16, accounting for 3,231 yards and 14 more touchdowns while chiseling his interceptions down to nine. It is also worth noting that the Vikings have since landed Kirk Cousins. Case Keenum is joining the Denver Broncos while Sam Bradford is expected to sign with the Arizona Cardinals.

Lions, Texans interested in Pats CB Butler
Between those career landmarks, Butler started 54 of a possible 55 games and played more defensive snaps than any Patriots player. A contract at that level will position the New England Patriots for a possible high compensatory draft choice in 2019.

McCown, who signed a one-year, $6 million contract with the Jets in 2017, easily won the starting job in the preseason and delivered the best statistical year of his long career.

Maccagnan and the Jets, as an organization, have missed on the game's most important position too many times to sit back and be content with a highly touted, yet still unproven quarterback if this deal does in fact go through. The Jets have either struck gold by buying low on a potential franchise quarterback or have taken a flier on a guy they don't even have to start next season. NY were surprisingly competitive during the season and went 5-8 in games he was under center.
