Drake confirms new album Scorpion will be released in June 2018

On Monday, the Grammy Award-winning rapper posted an Instagram image of a medallion with a scorpion in the centre and in the comments he added an emoji of a CD and the words "June 2018". The caption on both photos reads, "June 2018".

Neither Drake nor Raye have spoken out about the reports on social media, but if this is now a thing then we hope we at least get a quality tune or two out of it!

In recent months, he has released smash singles "God's Plan" and "Nice for What", which are likely to be included on the new album.

"Nice for What" debuted at No. 1 on Billboard's Hot 100 chart on Monday replacing "God's Plan" which remained at the top of the charts for 11 weeks.
