Mariah Carey Sued By Former Manager For Civil Rights Violations

Mariah Carey is reportedly facing an employment and civil rights lawsuit filed by her former manager Stella Bulochnikov. "She's a TV producer", adding that she had manipulative tendencies.

Forbes reported that Mariah, 48, made $27 million (£18.8 million) in 2015 after employing Stella.

Mariah revealed her 17-year-long battle with the disorder earlier this week, where she admitted she was living in "denial and isolation" before speaking publicly about her struggle.

Carey's ex-husband, Nick Cannon, reportedly expressed pride that she went public with her condition.

Carey fired Bulochnikov last fall when she was offered a deal with Roc Nation. "Stella and Mariah used to be best friends and really close, so it is sad that it is ending like this", a source close to Mariah tells HollywoodLife EXCLUSIVELY.

Stolper was involved in Carey's humiliating New Years Eve 2017 live performance that the star was still fuming over months later.

Mariah's publicist previously denied that Stella's dismissal had anything to do with creative director and boyfriend Brian Tanaka.

"It was too heavy a burden to carry and I simply couldn't do that anymore, I sought and received treatment, I put positive people around me and I got back to doing what I love - writing songs and making music".

She is said to be asking for large sums of money in compensation from the Hero hitmaker. O'Donnell says that while the diagnosis was true, "the reason that she is in the position she is in now is she refused to take her medication".

Bipolar II is said to be hard to diagnose.

In a new People magazine cover story, Carey talks about having been diagnosed with bipolar disorder and where she is today.
