Milo Djukanovic's DPS claims victory in Montenegro presidential election

Montenegro's former prime minister and long-ruling Democratic Party of Socialists leader Milo Djukanovic speaks during a celebration after presidential elections in Montenegro's capital, Podgorica, on Sunday.

If confirmed, the result is an approbation for his move previous year to defy Moscow and take Montenegro into the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO).

The middle for investigation and Tracking said after counting 60 percent of those volatility even though his opponent Mladen Bojanic won 3 4 percent that Djukanovic won about 53 per cent.

Voters in Montenegro are casting ballots at a presidential election with Prime Minister Milo Djukanovic expected to triumph after his party defied Russian Federation and required the modest Balkan nation in to North Atlantic Treaty Organisation.

The independent NGO Centre for Monitoring (CEMI) said the six-time former prime minister had garnered nearly 54 percent of the vote with two thirds of ballots counted.

Although MI boast a win percentage of 58.27% in the last 10 seasons, they have often been found guilty of being slow starters. Mumbai have failed to win their opening game for 6 seasons now and their record at the start of the season remains dismal.

The opposition says Djukanovic has ties to the mafia, an accusation he has denied.

About 530,000 voters were eligible to vote in the election.

Bojanic quickly conceded saying, "Montenegro has chosen what it has chosen".

"I will win today", Djukanovic predicted after voting.

Organised crime has cast a shadow over the campaign after 20 people were killed by assassinations in the street or auto bombs over the last two years.

Bush, 92, will "instead focus on comfort care" for unspecified health complications, according to a statement. He is 93 years old and also has been in failing health in recent years.

Earlier in the campaign he also accused Mr Djukanovic of being "the creator of the instability and chaos that we witness in the streets of Montenegro", referring to a rise in organised crime, including people trafficking.

Mladen Bojanic, the second ranked candidate supported by larger part of opposition parties, won 32 percent, while Draginja Vuksanovic from the Social-Democratic Party of Montenegro won 8 percent. "I will continue the struggle to liberate Montenegro from Djukanovic's dictatorship". "But the problem is that I do not know which side he is on", he added.

He now plans to gain membership to the European Union.

His presidential candidacy is supported by the ruling coalition partner Social Democrats, as well as Bosniak, Croat and Albanian minorities. The average salary in Montenegro sits at around €500 ($615) and unemployment is more than 20 percent.

Djukanovic has pared back his anti-Russian rhetoric saying he wanted "normal relations with Russia if it is prepared to do the same", but he has also said he wants the country to "remain on its road of development", which would be better achieved through ties with Brussels.
