Russian Federation may have tampered with chemical attack site, United States envoy says

Terrorists recently claimed that Syria's Douma city has been heavily attacked chemically, based on which, it claimed lives of 75 people and dozens of injured.

The British envoy to the OPCW said the body had recorded 390 allegations of the use of banned chemicals in Syria since 2014, and that a failure by the OPCW to act risked allowing "further barbaric use of chemical weapons".

"They have even suggested that the United Kingdom was behind the attack".

Western diplomats accused Syria and Russian Federation on Monday of preventing weapons inspectors from reaching the site of an alleged chemical attack by the Syrian government that led to a series of air strikes by the United States and its allies over the weekend.

Mr Lavrov also questioned why the US, UK and France had carried out their retaliatory air strikes before OPCW inspectors were able to visit the site.

Dez Bryant: 'Everything is still up in the air'
Though he's no longer the same player, he still seems to have plenty left in the tank. His departure saves them $8 million in salary cap space.

Moscow blamed the delay on the air strikes, in which the United States, France and Britain targeted what the Pentagon said were three chemical weapons facilities.

American and British officials said that the attacks disclosed on Monday affected a wide range of organizations including internet service providers, private businesses and critical infrastructure providers.

Konashenkov said that "powerful pressure from London was exerted on representatives of the so-called White Helmets to quickly stage the premeditated provocation". He didn't elaborate or name the state. She referred also to last month's poisoning in England of a former Russian double agent and his daughter - an incident Britain blames on Russia.

Konstantin Gaaze, a liberal independent analyst here, said Friday that Putin still hopes to negotiate a new start to U.S.

"The current escalation of the situation around Syria is destructive for the entire system of global relations", Putin said in a statement read by Russia's United Nations ambassador, Vassily Nebenzia, at an emergency Security Council session called by Russian Federation on Saturday. Britain's Ambassador Peter Wilson said in The Hague that the United Nations had cleared the inspectors to go but they had been unable to reach Douma because Syria and Russian Federation had been unable to guarantee their safety.

Analysts say Putin's Syria intervention is part of his effort to turn Russian Federation into an actor known for asserting its interests on a global scale. "What did take place was the staged thing".

"These systems were supposed to be supplied there a long time ago..."

Russian officials had said before the alleged attack in Douma that the rebels in Damascus suburbs were plotting chemical attacks to blame the Syrian government and set the stage for the USA strike. They had been expected to start their investigation into the alleged Douma attack on Saturday.

Macron says he 'convinced' Trump to stay in Syria ahead of strikes
British Prime Minister Theresa May was decried for not seeking parliamentary approval for Saturday's coordinated airstrikes. Macron said his scheduled trip to Moscow next month would be maintained despite divergence on the Syrian crisis.

Following the joint attack in Damascus against the Assad regime, Russia's ambassador warned that there will be consequences for the US-led military strikes on Syria, adding that it was unacceptable to insult Russian President Vladimir Putin. "I hope no one would dare to launch such an adventure now", Lavrov said.
