Sebastian Janikowski, Seahawks agree to deal

The Seattle Seahawks have officially signed free agent and longtime Raiders kicker Sebastian Janikowski, as initially reported by NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

Janikowski, who turned 40 last month, had spent his entire 18-year National Football League career with the Raiders before being informed by the team in February he would not return to Oakland in 2018. According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Janikowski has signed with the Seattle Seahawks. He was placed on the injured reserve list in 2017 and missed the entire season due to a herniated disc in his back. He's broken a slew of kicking records, and holds the record for most games played as a Raider.

Chemical watchdog confirms novichok poisoned
Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova has also said: "Even if it's Novichok , about 20 countries produced it". The OPCW was tasked with identifying the chemical, not with attributing its origin or ascertaining blame for the poisoning.

The Seahawks also signed Jason Myers in the offseason, but Janikowski will likely have the advantage going into training camp.

Janikowski, 40, spent his entire career from 2000-2017 with the Oakland Raiders.

EPL: Mourinho speaks on Martial leaving Manchester United
Both Martial and Rashford have been linked with moves away from Old Trafford after failing to hold down a first-team place. Martial, 22, has struggled for game time in recent weeks, particularly after Alexis Sanchez's arrival in January.

He'll now be tasked with replacing fellow veteran Blair Walsh, who struggled to the tune of 21-of-29 on field goal attempts for Seattle last season.

Janikowski will be reunited with special teams coach Brian Schneider, who he worked with in Oakland in 2007 and 2008.
