A Chabad house in Long Island becomes fulcrum in Mueller probe

Home Corporate Michael Cohen’s Business Partner Flips On Him Will Cooperate With Mueller Probe By Farron Cousins

A business partner of U.S. President Donald Trump's personal lawyer Michael Cohen has agreed to cooperate with prosecutors in investigations, the New York Times reported on Tuesday.

Donald Trump's personal lawyer Michael Cohen was secretly paid at least $400,000 to set up a White House meeting between his boss and the Ukrainian president, it has been claimed.

Cohen's case isn't being handled by special counsel Robert S. Mueller III's team of investigators but instead by the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Southern District of NY, which received a referral from Mueller's team before raiding Cohen's office and home last month.

Freidman's cooperation agreement could be a significant development for Cohen, whose personal business practices are under investigation by the USA attorney for the Southern District of NY. This is not just bad news for Michael Cohen, but bad news for everyone inside of the Trump administration.

"He's just not involved in the taxis", said former NY mayor and Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani.

Memorial Day Weekend in the Ocean State
Following the river ceremony the post will head to the Memorial Wall at Marantette Park at approximately 12:30 to 1 p.m. There will be a short program at that location which will include the Veterans of Foreign Wars Burial at Sea ceremony .

According to people with knowledge of his pitches, Cohen said he had the ultimate access to President Trump, while Lewandowski wouldn't be able to get things done.

He faces five years of probation instead of 100 years in prison.

Both Cohen and Freidman took out taxi-related loans back when the value of medallions - licenses to operate cabs - neared their apex. It's a good thing Trump owns the Republican party, otherwise he'd be in real trouble.

But that same Port Washington channel may have been used before in an effort by affiliates of Russian President Vladimir Putin to end sanctions against Moscow over its invasion of Ukraine, according to reports in The New York Times.

"Gene Freidman and I are not partners and have never been partners in this business or any other", he tweeted.

And Poroshenko was unsure until the last minute how much time and access he would have to the president, the BBC reported, noting Ukrainian officials were furious with Cohen, questioning if they paid him and he was unable to deliver.

According to a high-ranking Ukrainian intelligence official, Cohen was drafted in because the country's registered lobbyists could only get Poroshenko a brief photo opportunity with the USA president.

Freidman has for years managed a number of taxi medallions for Cohen in New York City and Chicago, and the pair have been friends since the 1990s.

New York State and New York City have claimed nearly $300,000 in unpaid taxes owed by 16 taxi medallion-holding companies owned by Cohen and members of his family, including Mad Dog Cab Corp., Smoochie Cab Corp., Golden Child Cab Corp. and N.Y. Futon Taxi Corp.
