Injured Neuer in Germany's provisional squad, Emre Can left out

Germany coach Joachim Loew has agreed to extend his contract with the world champions to 2022, he said on Tuesday before the unveiling of his preliminary World Cup squad.

This news ends any doubt about Low's future, as he had been linked with the vacant managerial position at Arsenal.

What do you make of Low's Germany squad?

Germany, who claimed their fourth world title in Brazil in 2014 courtesy of Mario Gotze's extra-time victor against Argentina at the Maracana, named 27 players in their provisional squad for next month's competition.

The Germany's captain and goalkeeper, had not played since September and still has to prove his fitness ahead of the June 14 start to the World Cup finals in Russian Federation.

Mancini takes charge of Italy
Mancini's first match in charge will be a friendly against Saudi Arabia on 28 May before Italy play France and Holland in June. Mancini led City to their first English league title in 44 years in 2012, and won three Serie A titles with Inter Milan.

Bayern Munich goalkeeper Neuer was named in Low's provisional 27-man party for Russian Federation 2018 on Tuesday despite not playing since September following foot surgery, although he has now returned to full training.

Neuer has been injured since September, when he suffered a fractured foot, and has made just four appearances since last April. However, Bayern's goalkeeper will be monitored during the training camp. We'll see if it's enough, but I can't say for certain.

"Both sides are aware of their responsibilities".

"It looked very good, very pleasing. He's our captain and we hope that he can go into the tournament 100 percent fit".

However, there was no place in the squad for Arsenal defender Shkodran Mustafi, who was part of the World Cup-winning squad in 2014 and has 20 global caps.

Design-wise, the camera is located on the top left corner and is aligned horizontally with an LED flash on the inner edge. Two of the colour variants have a dual-tone colour of blue and pink and in the images at least, looks pretty fantastic.

Loew also opted to stick with the experienced Mario Gomez as his second-choice striker behind Timo Werner and picked Freiburg's Nils Petersen ahead of Sandro Wagner. Although uncapped at senior level, Petersen was the top scorer at the Olympics in Rio de Janeiro in 2016, when Germany won the silver medal.

Dortmund's Marco Reus, 28, could play in his first global tournament since Euro 2012 after missing the World Cup in 2014 and Euro 2016.

Neuer returns to the worldwide fold despite missing most of Bayern's latest title-winning campaign with a broken foot, though Arsenal defender Shkodran Mustafi and Liverpool midfielder Emre Can are among those to miss out along with Gotze.

The Premier League is also represented in the squad, with Arsenal's Mesut Ozil joined by Manchester City duo Ilkay Gundogan and Leroy Sane, along with Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger.

They open their World Cup campaign against Mexico on June 17, before fixtures against Sweden (June 23) and South Korea (June 27).
