Kaspersky to move user data to new Swiss centre by end

In fact, its Global Transparency Initiative was announced in October previous year in response to the allegations.

As part of the announcement, Anton Shingarev, vice-president of public affairs at Kaspersky Labs said: "The allegations we faced are wrong and there is no evidence".

The DHS believed that Kaspersky Lab products contained security holes and that exploiting the software to gain access to federal networks was trivial at best.

According to the agency, Russian laws allows the Kremlin to potentially lean on Kaspersky Lab to perform cyberespionage and intercept communications connected to Russian networks.

Boss Key Productions Is No More
Yesterday, the studio head at Boss Key Productions , Cliff Bleszinski announced that the studio has been shut down, finito. Lawbreakers was shuttered, with Radical Heights becoming the hail mary pass that Boss Key made a decision to throw.

To improve transparency and integrity, the company said it is also looking for an independent third-party based in Switzerland to supervise its operations in order to assure customers that their data can not be compromised by the Russian state. The new measures are the next steps in the development of the initiative, but they also reflect the company's commitment to working with others to address the growing challenges of industry fragmentation and a breakdown of trust.

One of the easy attacks to make against Kaspersky Labs has been to focus on its Russian heritage and then raise questions of trust and regardless of whether it has any validity it has made an impact on brand association.

The transparency center will also host the company's "build infrastructure" that Kaspersky uses to assemble and manage its products.

The transition of systems and data will be overseen by an unnamed independent third party that is based in Switzerland.

Melania Trump in hospital after kidney surgery
Taking to Twitter he wrote: "Heading over to Walter Reed Medical Center to see our great First Lady, Melania". He told the audience that she is "on our hearts" and "we're praying for her speedy and full recovery".

Kaspersky said more transparency centers are set to open in North America and Asia by 2020, but the company is not yet ready to disclose more details.

Independent supervision and reviewKaspersky Lab is arranging for the data storage and processing, software assembly and source code to be independently supervised by a third party qualified to conduct technical software reviews.

The decision by the vendor, as part of its Global Transparency Initiative, to move a number of core processes from Russia to the famously neutral Switzerland, should stem a lot of the criticisms about Russian ties. "Since transparency and trust are becoming universal requirements across the cybersecurity industry, Kaspersky Lab supports the creation of a new, non-profit organisation to take on this responsibility, not just for the company, but for other partners and members who wish to join", Kaspersky added.
