North Korea tells U.S. to back off - now what?

North Korean leader Kim Jong-un

USA lawmakers of both parties have told VOA they are not surprised by North Korea's threat to cancel an upcoming summit between President Donald Trump and Kim Jong Un.

North Korea says June 12 powwow may not happen if Washington continues to demand that it unilaterally abandon its nuclear weapons - a condition Trump says he is sticking to.

The meeting was also being considered as a prelude to the historic meeting between the North Korean leader Kim Jong-un and the US President Donald Trump.

"We shed light on the quality of Bolton already in the past, and we do not hide our feeling of repugnance towards him", vice minister Kim said. "The president's fully prepared and fully ready to carry on in these conversations both leading up to and if the meeting takes place", she said.

North Korea's vice foreign minister, Kim Kye Gwan, said on Wednesday that Pyongyang will reconsider attending the summit with the US. Trump should do the same, thinking strategically about the motivations of all the summit's key players: North Korea, China, South Korea, Japan, and Russian Federation.

Karnataka Governor invites Yeddyurappa to form government in the state
The opportunist Congress and JD-S were forgetting people's mandate, Rao said. "The Governor is following the Constitution". Governors are political appointees, and Vala had served under Modi as his finance minister in the state of Gujarat.

"We're still hopeful that the meeting will take place and we'll continue down that path", spokeswoman Sarah Sanders told reporters.

"It's what the North Koreans do and the question is whether this really is a sign that they're not taking our objective of denuclearization seriously". On one board will be the future of North Korea's nuclear weapons programs, what Trump came to negotiate.

Of course, the Kim regime must have been displeased with US calls for complete, verifiable and irreversible denuclearization (CVID).

"They have historically made unreasonable demands ahead of summit talks and then threatened to walk away if they don't get what they want", he said.

At a summit with the South's President Moon Jae-in last month, Mr Kim reaffirmed his commitment to the denuclearisation of the Korean peninsula.

BMW iNext Concept teased
The automaker has also confirmed the iNext will offer Level 3 self-driving capability in certain highway situations. Earlier this year, BMW also said that it increased the planned range for the iNEXT to an insane 435-mile range .

Pyongyang also raised hopes ahead of the United States summit by announcing it will destroy its nuclear testing site next week.

North Korea's official Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) said, "The U.S. will have to think twice about the fate of the DPRK-U.S. summit now on high agenda before a provocative military racket against the DPRK in league with the South Korean authorities".

The North Korean state news agency accused Seoul and Washington of carrying out large-scale air drills against Pyongyang before the "ink on the declaration had a chance to dry".

At a daily briefing, foreign ministry spokesman Lu Kang said North Korea and the United States should ensure the summit proceeds as planned and yields "substantial outcomes".

South Korea's unification ministry called it regrettable.
