Margot Kidder, the actress best known for playing the iconic Lois Lane opposite Christopher Reeve in the "Superman" movies, died Sunday in Montana, ABC News has confirmed via the funeral home handling her arrangements and her personal manager. TMZ reports she has 2 more roles that have yet to be released.

Arrangements for Kidder's funeral are still pending at a funeral home in Livingston, MT.

More recently, the duo walked in together at Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja's gala wedding reception held at The Leela, Mumbai. Way back in 2014 during her appearance on Koffee with Karan , Alia Bhatt openly said she wants to marry Ranbir Kapoor .

Kidder would also guest star in a host of TV series over the years, and in 2015 she was honoured a Daytime Emmy Award for a guest performance in the children's series R.L. Stine's The Haunting Hour.

Her career came to a temporary halt in 1996 when she suffered a highly publicized mental breakdown. Margot Kidder was only 69 years old. Police later responded to a call about a woman hiding behind a home, and Kidder was later identified and described as "dirty, frightened and paranoid", according to the Independent.
