You're Not the Only Corrupt-Free Nigerian, Dogara Tells Buhari

Buhari spending more on Nigerians than previous governments- Osinbajo

Reno Omokri, aide to ex-president Goodluck Jonathan, has attacked Acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Ibrahim Magu, for wearing an emblem of President Muhammadu Buhari.

The Commonwealth scribe, who stated this at the ongoing 8th Commonwealth Conference of Anti-Corruption Agencies in Africa, with the theme, "Partnering Towards Assets Recovery and Return" also noted that this recovery surpassed the recoveries made in the past 10 years.

We are committed to working with our foreign friends to stop the inflow of stolen funds from Nigeria into their countries and recovering what is there already.

According to him, "there will be no hiding place for corruption, we are ready to engage everyone included in this fight, that is why we are calling on every Nigerian to own the fight against corruption", he said.

Magu said that since President Buhari took over office in 2015, the EFCC has convicted about 422 cases with 89 of them secured in 2018 alone.

Ocado signs partnership agreement with USA giant Kroger
Losses incurred today alone by the "shorties" are in excess of £150mln. "That position now looks like a badly busted flush". Ocado said those will offset in part the total fees expected to be agreed between the two parties.

"I took the trouble yesterday to visit the new headquarters of the EFCC; I wanted to see what would be the mode of hospitality for some of our leaders who will surely sooner or later pas through the doors of that attractive building not far from here".

The Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN), Justice Walter Onnoghen, called for more political will by governments in the continent in the fight against corruption. Everyone now knows that corrupt officials will be held to account, no matter how long it takes.

"The future is bright for Nigeria, as the economy has taken a turn for the better, our foreign reserves are nearly twice the level we met, boosting investor confidence and stabilising the Naira, and inflation has declined consecutively for more than a year".

What I see here is not only a structure of concrete and metal, I see in this edifice, the resolve of Nigerians to fight corruption.

Making allusion from the Holy scriptures, the Speaker said "there is a representation of history, a prophet cried to God and said there was only one man that has not bowed his knees to Baal, but God replied to that prophet saying, that he has reserved several others in that city who have not bowed their knees to Baal". "We hope that this building will not only take the angels, but will send all the corrupt (persons) to where they rightly belong", she said.

Nadal Dispatches Dzumhur To Advance In Rome
Fognini got the Foro Italico crowd fired up with an inspired 6-4 1-6 6-3 win over last week's Madrid finalist, Thiem. Halep needs to reach at least the quarterfinals or risk losing the top spot to Caroline Wozniacki.

"And so, I spoke to Magu and I said I want to see where the presidential wing is". When you have an angel banished to hell, he's now a demon, and demons can not lead this fight.

"We need to educate Nigerians that corruption is wrong".

The former leader said although some of his ministers were being accused of corruption, the regime made sure that it did not happen. I want my money back to the people of Nigeria.

President Buhari further appealed to Nigerians to support regulatory agencies like Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, adding that fighting corruption is everyone's concern.
