The ATM (DFBK - 000196116) belongs to the State Bank of India (SBI) and is located in Laipuli area of the district.

Police said the rodents probably entered the machine through a hole for wiring, the Hindustan Times reported.

To get the machine repaired, the authorities had brought in ATM engineers from Kolkata and they found the currency notes shredded into pieces on Sunday when they visited the kiosk.
