Technical issue causes flight cancellations at Charlotte Douglas

PSA Airlines which is wholly owned by American Airlines was forced to cancel about 70 more flights on Sunday evening affecting schedules through Monday morning

Last night at about 9pm, the airline tweeted that; "PSA Airlines, an American Airlines regional carrier, experienced a technical issue that caused them to cancel their flights for the remainder of the evening".

PSA Airlines, which is wholly owned by American Airlines, was forced to cancel about 70 more flights on Sunday evening, affecting schedules through Monday morning.

These cancellations come after 120 PSA flights were canceled out of Charlotte on Thursday evening - which has snowballed into cancelations, delays and all sorts of issues throughout the weekend.

This morning, PSA Airlines, an American Airlines regional carrier, experienced a technical issue, which primarily impacted flights to Charlotte.

American Airlines says a technical issue led to a backlog of flights.

The cancellations are expected to continue through noon Monday, according to the carrier.

"There are always delays, but not like this", said Sheila Petersen, a passenger.
