Trump Routinely Rips Up Documents He Is Required to Preserve

A team across the street from the White House tapes together Trump's papers to preserve them in compliance with federal law

U.S. President Donald Trump is pictured during a meeting at the Istana in Singapore June 11, 2018. There, Lartey told Politico, they would tape the pieces together - sometimes the paper was merely shredded in half, other times it was basically confetti - and then send the restored papers to their supervisors.

As career staffers who were abruptly forced to resign earlier this year, Solomon Lartey and Reginald Young Jr. told Politico that they were paid almost $66,000 a year to tape back together official documents that went through the Oval Office.

President Donald Trump reportedly keeps ripping notes and memos that under the law should be preserved ― and the White House has paid staffers to carefully tape these documents back together.

It states that the White House must preserve any memo, letter or email that the president touches and send them to the National Archives.

When staffers realised they wouldn't be able to break the president of this now potentially illegal habit, they chose to clean it up for him, in order to make sure he wasn't violating the law, Politico reported.

TYSON FURY slammed Sefer Seferi for not turning up for a fight, but revealed he was very happy with his own performance. Germany's Manuel Charr, who holds the secondary WBA title, is one potential opponent for Fury in the next six months.

Both Mr Lartey and Mr Young had their jobs terminated abruptly in the spring, Politico reported. And they got this story instead, with an aside about their being fired dutifully recorded near the end of the piece.

Mr Trump and the White House have not yet commented on the Politico report.

The job of the records management analysts working in the Old Executive Office Building next door to the White House has changed considerably under the Trump administration, according to a Sunday Politico report.

Lartey and Young, who have since been dismissed, said they spent months piecing and taping together a variety of documents Trump would tear apart.

"I had a letter from Schumer - he tore it up", said the records management analyst.

Musician Bruce Springsteen will be given a special Tony Award for his concert residency at the Walter Kerr Theatre in NY . The biggest victor of the night was The Band's Visit , a musical about an Egyptian band visiting an Israeli desert town.

"I'm looking at my director, and saying, 'Are you guys serious?'" Young told Politico.

"That is a million-dollar question that I have yet to get an answer to", Young said. "I would never have thought I would have gotten fired".

'It felt like the lowest form of work you can take on without having to empty the trash cans'.
