Trump speaks of plan to halt migrant separations

Republicans in the Senate are supporting more narrow legislation that would let detained families stay together while expediting their deportation proceedings.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said Tuesday that all GOP senators support keeping families together at the border and that Republicans would reach out to Democrats to try to reach a deal, NBC News reported. For example, they've issued rulings to block Trump's "Muslim" or "travel ban" and his attempt to cut federal funding to "sanctuary" cities that refuse to fully cooperate with federal immigration enforcement efforts.

John McCain, R-Ariz., tweeted, "The administration's current family separation policy is an affront to the decency of the American people and contrary to principles and values upon which our nation was founded".

Trump also questioned the need for thousands more judges to handle immigration cases: "Who are these people?" he asked. The master negotiator strikes again.

At the Tuesday rally, tech workers mixed with immigrants and activists, all horrified at the images of children being torn from their parents. Many still support a hard-line conservative proposal written by House Judiciary Committee Chairman Bob Goodlatte, R-Va., that is expected to fail. One, a hard-line measure sponsored by Rep. But both Republicans and Democrats are to blame for not addressing our flawed border security laws.

"I don't want children taken away from parents".

He berated Democrats, calling them "the problem". He complained to one adviser that the media had not given him enough credit after the summit and was continuing to undermine him on immigration, according to a person familiar with the conversation but not authorized to speak publicly. He said that crime in Germany was up by over 10 per cent, but that German officials did not want to report the crimes since they allowed the migrants into their country.

"They're fake", he said.

Migrants wait for access to request asylum in the U.S., at the El Chaparral port of entry in Tijuana, Mexico, on April 30.

The Texas Civil Rights Project works to document the separations in the hopes of helping them reunite with the children. Members of Congress have learned that Trump simply can't be trusted to keep to a single position from one day to the next.

Starbucks announces it's closing 150 stores in 2019
Notably, as from 2019, it plans to shift its focus for new stores away from areas where it already has a strong presence and to underserved markets.

Keep that in mind every time you see images of mothers flailing to hold on to their youngsters.

The Senate won't pass either of these bills anyway. Ted Cruz and John Cornyn who have already announced they're writing a counterpiece of legislation Is it that hard for Republicans to get behind a Democrat-introduced piece of legislature, or are they really willing to let children sleep in cages where babies have their diapers changed by other children so Republicans can take their sweet time throwing together their own version of legislation?

While Trump held firm to his tough immigration stance in an earlier appearance Tuesday, he acknowledged during the closed-door meeting that the coverage of family separations is taking a toll. The protest is in response to the Trump's administration of separating children from their parents who are detained after trying to cross into the United States at the Mexico border.

Why is Trump doing this?

. "Our bill does just that".

House Republican Mario Diaz-Balart said the priority of ending the separations has been slotted into a compromise bill now under consideration and favored by GOP moderates.
