Woods cruises into New York in his $20m yacht ahead of US Open

Tiger Woods is going to have the swankiest accommodations of anyone at the U.S. Open this year.

The yacht, named "Privacy", is docked at Gurney's Yacht Club in Montauk, a luxury resort roughly 26 miles east of Shinnecock Hills. The area around Shinnecock Hills on the eastern end of Long Island is full of lovely rental homes and beachside hotels.

One local made light of the stir his arrival caused by comparing the giant cruiser to his tiny dinghy Whippersnapper tied up on the same jetty. For Tiger Woods, that apparently means pulling up his 155-foot yacht and staying there. I respectfully declined, ' Grant Monahan joked on Instagram on Wednesday.

Woods bought "Privacy" in 2004, and he and his former wife Elin Nordegren spent their wedding night aboard the yacht.

Chris Woakes out of Scotland one-dayer, England call up Tom Curran
England will be without Ben Stokes for the one-day global with Scotland and the start of the summer series against Australia. Stokes too will miss the Scotland ODI and will be out of action of the "first part" of the Australia ODIs.

The New York Post's Page Six celebrity news site said Woods had chose to spend the week of the tournament on his 155-foot yacht named "Privacy". Other amenities include a full bar and eight-person hot tub on the deck, as well as a scuba decompression chamber. The report states that Woods will be staying on the yacht while playing in the tournament and, why not? She apparently made numerous interior design choices for the sleek vessel, like the dark cherry wood, marble and leather furniture.

Woods tried to sell the yacht, which has entertained friends including Bill Gates, Oprah Winfrey, and Michael Jordan, in 2011 but couldn't find a buyer.
