Backing congressman doesn't want a 2nd Putin summit in Washington

The White House's silence over what agreements were made between President Trump and President Putin in Helsinki has handed the initiative to Russian Federation, which is wasting little time trying to nail down specifics.

Before the meeting in Helsinki, Coats publicly warned that the United States was facing a growing cyber threat, singling out Russian Federation as the country's most hostile adversary.

Onstage at the Aspen Security Forum, Andrea Mitchell of NBC News interrupted her discussion with Coats to say: "We have some breaking news".

"If he had asked me how that ought to be conducted, I would have suggested a different way", Coats said.

Illustrating the gulf between Trump and some of his own advisers, Director of National Intelligence Dan Coats said on Thursday that he did not know what Trump and Putin discussed in their private meeting.

In response to Trump's tweet, Clinton posted a more recent video, sharing her remarks from a 2016 campaign rally.

Sacramento Kings Bring Back Ben McLemore In Trade With Memphis Grizzlies
It was his second season in Sacramento, on top of a 10-day contract he spent there in 2010. The 6-foot-6 guard also averaged 2.3 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 24.8 minutes.

The U.S. Senate rebuked the president for not outright rejecting the proposal, overwhelmingly passing a non-binding resolution against allowing Russian Federation to question U.S. officials.

Russian Federation is promising to keep Iran away from Israel's borders, but as Director of National Intelligence Dan Coats said Thursday there is reason to doubt whether they can deliver on that.

Trump and Putin met at a summit in Helsinki on Monday, although it is not known what they discussed at a one-on-one meeting there.

The president's pro-Russia remarks often put the intelligence chief, who has criticized Russian Federation for years, in a tough position.

The White House said Trump "disagrees" with Putin's offer to allow United States questioning of 12 Russians who have been indicted for election interference in exchange for Russian interviews with the former U.S. ambassador to Russia and other Americans the Kremlin accuses of unspecified crimes.

Since Monday's summit and joint news conference in Helsinki, Trump and his aides have been trying to control the damage done when he stunned the world by siding with Putin over USA intelligence agencies on the question of Moscow's meddling in the 2016 US election. Despite the week's furore, Trump also said he was looking forward to his second meeting with the Russian leader.

Remains of suspected serial killer Bruce McArthur's 8th victim identified
Police later confirmed that more human remains had been found and sent to the Ontario Forensic Pathology Service to be tested. McArthur was arrested in January in connection with the disappearances of numerous men with ties to Toronto's gay community.

The White House later clarified that the president was saying "no" to answering more questions. However, on Tuesday, Trump claimed that he misspoke on the issue.

Top U.S. intelligence officials have said Moscow is targeting congressional elections in November as well.

Obviously, much of the equations and bilateral relations between the United States and Russian Federation, aren't formed during the meetings between Trump and Putin, but on the political and internal scene of the two countries.

"There is no question that Russian Federation interfered in our election and continues attempts to undermine democracy here and around the world", he said.

Brian McKeon, a former National Security Council chief of staff under former President Barack Obama, told Business Insider the "normal practice" for meetings with foreign counterparts is for a note-taker, often an NSC staff person, to "try to create a verbatim record".

In an interview with "CBS Evening News" anchor Jeff Glor Wednesday, President Trump was asked if he holds Putin personally responsible for meddling.

‘Walking Dead’ Unveils Season 9 Trailer, Premiere Date at Comic-Con
There are certainly some gnarly new walkers in the trailer, reminiscent of the early seasons of The Walking Dead . Robert Kirkman confirmed that Alpha, the leader of the Whisperers, would appear on Season 9 of the hit AMC show.

However grudging Trump's moves against Moscow might have been, though, his defenders say the actions speak for themselves.
