‘Downton Abbey’ movie is a go, with original cast

It's time to once again return to 'Downton Abbey.' The celebrated drama is getting a movie, so pour a cup of tea and find out which of your favorites are set to return.

Across six seasons of its original run, Downton Abbey - set in the wealthy Crawley family's country estate as it followed their intricate lives as well as those of the servants they employed at the turn of the 20th century - garnered a steady global following and sustained critical acclaim.

The original cast will reunite for the film and series' creator Julian Fellowes has already penned the screenplay. Plot details are being kept under wraps.

The show ran for six seasons and follows the upstairs/downstairs lives of the wealthy Crawley family and their housekeepers in 20th century England. The series finale - a Christmas special - brought the story to a seeming close on New Year's Eve 1925.
