Fans thrilled as Drake replaces DJ Khaled as Wireless Festival headliner

As fans grew suspicious over the timing of Wireless and DJ Khaled's tweets, a representative for the event has now set the record straight about the situation, in yet more posts on Twitter.

'Drake is known for his surprise appearances, having performed at the Reading festival and London's Xoyo a year ago, ' an insider claimed.

Having initially blamed "travel issues" for Khaled's failure to show, organizers then concded that they had known for "a few months" that the producer would be unable to make it to London due to a scheduling conflict involving Fox show The Four, on which he serves as a coach.

Another stellar display came on Saturday to help Gareth Southgate's side overcome Sweden and reach their first World Cup semi-final for 28 years.

The 6 God's surprise performance came included a surprise guest, Giggs, who was rumored to bring out Drake during his own set.

Another said: "Drake turning up at #Wireless to replace @djkhaled is the best substitution of this #WorldCup period".

Khaled has yet to explain what exactly forced him to axe the gig, but the travel problem didn't prevent him from sharing photos of his family on vacation in Mexico.
