North Atlantic Treaty Organisation members keep wary eye on Trump's mood

NATO Alliance Summit in Brussels

The last time Donald Trump met with the US's allies, he left them reeling.

On both matters, Republican senators said they agreed with Trump's message. He said the US commitment to the 29-member North Atlantic Treaty Organization remains very strong and cited "the additional money they will be putting up" and "the level of spirit in that room" during the meetings.

Trump said there had been "tremendous progress" and that allies were "going to up it at levels they've never seen before".

Earlier Thursday, Trump called out USA allies on Twitter as he attended a second day of meetings with leaders of the military alliance.

"I think it is a very bad thing for North Atlantic Treaty Organisation and I don't think it should have happened and I think we have to talk to Germany about it".

He complained the United States "pays tens of Billions of Dollars too much to subsidize Europe" and demanded that members of the military alliance meet their pledge to spend 2 percent of GDP on defense, which "must ultimately go to 4%!"

This is not the first time United States company has made diplomatic changes to its devices on behalf of the Chinese government. Emojis may be a fun form of communication but they are destroying the English language, a recent study by Google has revealed.

Trump has taken particular aim at the proposed Nord Stream II gas pipeline, which is set to run from Russian Federation to Germany under the Baltic Sea.

Trump wrote in a second tweet, continuing a line of attack he opened Wednesday against Germany over its reliance on a gas pipeline from Russia: "On top of it all, Germany just started paying Russia, the country they want protection from, Billions of Dollars for their Energy needs coming out of a new pipeline from Russia". In the afternoon, he heads to his next stop: the United Kingdom.

Trump would normally first need to win approval in the Senate and to persuade Republican senators that the move was necessary and in the US's long-term security interests.

"I am very happy that today we are united in freedom, the Federal Republic of Germany", Merkel added.

Trump took his war of words with America's allies to a new level Wednesday, telling NATO's top official that Germany is "captive" to Russian Federation due to a recent energy deal. "There is a great collegial atmosphere in that room, that I don't think they've had for many years".

Sen. Jerry Moran of Kansas, who was on the trip, said in an interview that he had particular concerns about the possibility of Russian media entities misreporting the outcome of any one-on-one meeting between Trump and Putin.

The series will also enable Indian team management to mix and match the various combinations, keeping World Cup in mind. Last time England played at Nottingham , they scored a staggering 481 for the world record.

Throughout the day, leaders were peppered with questions about Trump's behavior and whether or not they agreed with his position on Germany.

"I have to tell you that the atmosphere last night at dinner was very open, was very constructive and it was very positive, " Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic, the president of Croatia, told reporters.

Throughout his presidency, Trump has railed against European allies for not paying more for the defenses.

"As we engage Russian Federation we must do so from a position of unity and strength - holding out hope for a better future, but also clear and unwavering on where Russian Federation needs to change its behavior for this to become a reality, " she said.

For now, it appears that Trump's threat is just that.

Trump's next stop will be London, where he'll be meeting with Queen Elizabeth II and British Prime Minister Theresa May.
