UK Government On Verge Of Collapse Days Before Trump's Visit

Brexit has now morphed into an unprecedented tsunami threatening to destroy every British interest in its path. Threats of betrayal against Prime Minister May with her soft Brexit configuration adopted at the Chequers Cabinet retreat last weekend have been made by senior Conservatives.

The turmoil came at the start of a momentous week for Mrs May on the world stage, with her attendance at the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation summit in Brussels on Wednesday and Thursday followed by Donald Trump's first visit to the United Kingdom as U.S. president. Does she rely on Labour votes to achieve Brexit or does she change her mind and go back to Lancaster House.

Mr Coveney said there hadn't been a clear British negotiating position for many months.

"With a lot of resignations", Trump told a news conference at the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation summit in Brussels.

Trump suggested that his upcoming meeting with Russian president Vladimir Putin could be easier than his trip to Europe to see North Atlantic Treaty Organisation leaders and Mrs May.

Lovren ready for Kane test at World Cup
Now with my national team we are in the final. "There is too much about me but, whatever, this is what gets me more motivated to work harder and prove everyone wrong".

Seven MPs including Boris Johnson and David Davis have quit their posts, condemning the Chequers plan for proposing too close a relationship with the European Union after Brexit.

This is the unsafe path ahead for Remain supporters: we have warned since very soon after the vote that if Brexit looked like it would go badly, prominent Brexiteers would jump ship, accuse Remainers of sabotage - or undermining the vote - and try to lay the blame for everything at their door. "Frankly, Putin may be the easiest of all".

"The government is committed to agreeing a close future relationship on financial services and a bilateral solution that preserves the mutual benefits of integrated markets whilst protecting financial stability", the ministry said in a statement.

Some elements are likely to anger Brexit-backers, including Britain's willingness to pay the European Union for access to certain agencies and the suggestion some European Union citizens could continue to work in Britain visa-free.

Trump has always been a Brexit supporter and has expressed enthusiasm for a wide-ranging trade deal with Britain after Brexit, something heralded by eurosceptics as being one of the great benefits of exiting the bloc.

Comeback kings Croatia have unfinished business at the World Cup
That team also exceeded expectations and won the adulation of fans at home with a beloved centre forward who played for Tottenham. England's run in the World Cup came to an end on Wednesday night after a 2-1 defeat in extra time to Croatia in the semi finals.

Despite the welcome from May, many Britons are opposed to Trump's visit.

A minister quoted the prime minister as saying, "If we don't pull together, we risk the election of Jeremy Corbyn as prime minister", The Guardian reported.

He is due to stay overnight with Johnson at the ambassador's Winfield House residence in London's Regent's Park where a protest is planned at which demonstrators will play recordings of migrant children held in U.S. detention centres.

Trump next heads to Windsor Castle later Friday for tea with the queen. His late mother hailed from Scotland, and he owns two luxury golf courses there.
