United Kingdom parliament vote to reveal extent of anger over May's Brexit plan

Another Conservative Party legislator, Anna Soubry, who opposes the "hard" Brexit that would see Britain leave the European Union without a trade deal in place, said the government's acceptance of the four amendments mean that Rees-Mogg is now effectively "running Britain".

But her plans have been criticised by pro-EU Conservative lawmakers, with one former minister calling it the "worst of all worlds", while eurosceptics say the strategy will keep Britain firmly in the bloc's sphere of influence.

She said it would allow Britain to control migration, end the jurisdiction of European Union courts and forge its own trade policy - despite US President Donald Trump saying the prime minister's plan could "kill" a US-UK trade deal.

In the space of 24 hours, MP for Witney Robert Courts and MP for North Cornwall Scott Mann have resigned from their government positions following the release of Mrs May's plans for future European Union-UK relations, which would see post-Brexit Britain tied to numerous bloc's rules and regulations, joining seven others who resigned either from Cabinet or from a Tory Party role.

Ms Caulfield warned that May's Brexit proposal would result in a loss of membership for the Conservative Party and would hand support to leftist Labour Party leader Jeremy Corbyn.

Jose Mourinho criticizes Manchester City star for poor World Cup
Manchester United have already signed three players for the new season, but the club are now reportedly targeting three players who impressed at the 2018 World Cup .

May's spokesman said there would be no second referendum under any circumstances, and restated her position that the Chequers plan was the only way to deliver a Brexit that worked in the best interests of the country.

I think we're going to have a great trade deal.

The prime minister also said that the taxation (cross border trade) bill, which seeks to allow the United Kingdom to implement its own customs regime after Brexit, and a related trade bill on Tuesday, were "an important part of our no-deal preparations" because both were necessary to prepare the United Kingdom for life as an independent trading nation.

Mr Davis wrote in his resignation letter that the plan "hands control of large swathes of our economy to the European Union and is certainly not returning control of our laws in any real sense". "I can not tell the people of WOxon [Witney and West Oxfordshire] that I support the proposals in their current form".

He said: "I can't possibly dress it up in any other words than it's an absolute shambles and a self-inflicted shambles by Number 10".

It certainly didn't help that the midfielder had no goals or assists entering the final. The World Cup star chose to sing the familiar tune during a winners' photoshoot.

Monday's data showed that overall net long-term immigration of people of all nationalities to Britain rose to 282,000 in 2017 from 249,000 in 2016, though this is well below the record of 332,000 recorded in 2015.

She will also announce £343m in additional research and development funding, including investment in new "cleaner and greener" electric aircraft technology.

The Tory divide over Brexit deepened last night after ex-minister and arch-Remainer Justine Greening called for a second referendum.

The PM is expected to say her controversial proposals will safeguard millions of jobs in the aerospace industry.

"It's also quite likely to be either rejected by the European Union or more demands will be made upon it so it will be even less acceptable".

Didier Deschamps: France team spirit set us apart
The World Cup was also a success off the field, as FIFA's festival of football arrived in Eastern Europe for the first time. The substitutes were not in a mood. "How marvellous! It's a young team, who are on the top of the world", Deschamps said.

Ms Greening, who represents the London seat of Putney, is the most high-profile MP to back a second referendum.
